Ball Simulator Version 2 is out NOW!

The inevitable successor to the studio's first 'game' is out now! Although I didn't know too much about C++ game development until a few months ago, I have already created a project I am proud of. Many new features and expansions on the original game, as well as refinements mean we think Ball Simulator 2 will be a far better project.

I have used C++ and the SFML graphics wrapper library to create this project, meaning it gave me full access to your computers resources. Although the executable currently is a single threaded program, I have plans in the future to multithread it meaning massive performance gains.

Lets talk about features - Ball Simulator 2 has a lot already. While there is currently no tutorial, I will include a descriptive .txt readme available to download alongside the project. With Ball Simulator 2, you can now make connections between balls (nodes), allowing the creation of highly complex structures. A fully working gravity simulation has also been added, meaning you can simulate planetary interactions and destruction to your hearts desire. Changing particle mass, size and starting velocity along with the ability to create massive grids or circles of particles with ease means that any creation is just a few minutes away from reality.

Except for you, Mac or Linux users. My apologies. Support for Mac will be coming out at launch, and hopefully beforehand as well. As for Linux, I don't ever know if I will get around to that. Maybe if there is enough demand.
